A CORRECTED DIET ELIMINATES THE FOLLOWING UNWHOLESOME FOODS
Sugar and products containing sugar. This includes white sugar ,brown sugar, raw sugar,
molasses, and syrups. It eliminates all sugar-containing products such as jellies, jams,
preserves, cakes, pies, ice cream, sherbet, jello, gelatin desserts made with sugar,
cookies, cakes, doughnuts, pastries, canned fruits, chewing gum.
White flour products. This includes white bread, packaged ready cooked cereals such as
cream of wheat, cookies, cakes, noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, and pastries.
Milk and milk products such as cheese (This does not include cream and butter which are
animal fats and are very healthful. As a substitute for milk, one should use 1/3 cup of
heavy cream to 2/3 cups of water).
Hydrogenated fats. This includes margarines, solid vegetable shortenings, peanut butter
in most health food stores. So many foods are now made with hydrogenated fats that it also
excludes them from the list of a healthy diet,
Coffee and strong tea. One may use decaffeinated coffee. Whenever a coffee drinker
stops using coffee, it is often common for that person to have a headache for one or two
days, this is due to ridding the system of the craving for caffeine, it is merely the
response of the body to freeing itself from its dependency upon a harmful stimulant.
Juices both fruit and vegetable.
Synthetic vitamins, except when used along with natural vitamins in special cases.
Chemical preservatives. All foods preserved with chemical preservatives. Often these
preservatives are very poisonous, and particularly after continued use may have very
harmful effects upon the body. Read the labels, and if the product contains chemical
preservatives or food additives, avoid it. This includes most dry breakfast cereals, most
commercially produced breads , processed meats, many types of dried fruits (for example,
certain brands of raisins, certain brands of dressings made for salads, and many other
commercially produced foods.
Alcohol and alcoholic beverages. If used, use in moderation.
